About the Integrated Disk Rehabilitation Program

Conventional approaches to the treatment of degenerative joint conditions focus on therapies employing rest, drugs and exercise. If these are unsuccessful treatment options include injections and surgery. This program was designed for those whom conventional approaches to recovery contain unacceptable risk or are simply wishing to avoid drug or surgery interventions. This program is suitable for those who have tried drugs or surgery with limited results. This program integrates a range of synergistic natural therapies to stimulate a state of regeneration in the spinal joint tissues.

Program length is usually 90 days. Severe cases can take up to 180 days with ongoing maintenance therapy to maintain progress. Individual results are dependent on the level of degeneration of the tissues and overall health of the person.

Our comprehensive intake process
identifies the level of care you are likely to need to achieve results, identifies limiting health factors that require attention and provides you with an individualized estimate of your cost. Periodic exams and reports provide you with confidence that results are being achieved.

Program Treatment Objectives:

  • Relieve Pain and improve Energy
  • Improve mobility and ability to do activities of daily living
  • Reduce systemic and localized inflammation
  • Reduce or eliminate neurological symptoms
  • Remodel core structural component tissues (Discs, ligaments, vascularization)
  • Restore muscular tone to spinal support musculature

Do I need to bring in X-rays and MRIs

If after your initial exam the doctor feels you need diagnostic studies they will be requested.

  • Bring in any X-rays or MRIs that have already been done.
  • Bring in any neurological test results such as EMGs and NCV studies.
  • Bring any blood work that has been done in the last year.

Will treatment hurt

Most of our patients start in a great deal of discomfort and any treatment can be painful initially. We care about our patients as we are patients also and know what it feels like to go through what you are experiencing. We do our best to give you as smooth a ride as possible. If there anything we do that makes you go “OMG don’t ever do that again” then please let us know so we can adjust your treatment level.

Do I have to come in for lots of visits?

We know that lots of visits takes away from your ability to manage your daily life. Visits are usually scheduled on a weekly basis after pain levels become manageable. The Rehab exercise portion of this program is performed daily at your home or office and are not time intensive.

Will I be able to do the exercises

This program is designed for people in excruciating pain and limited mobility. Check out our Home rehab instruction videos in the videos section for a preview.

What should I wear

Ordinary Street clothes are ok. Workout clothes are most comfortable. Gym shorts are available if you wear a dress.
